Army Cpl. Nicholas H. Olivas died May 30, 2012, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Nicholas was a Fairfield Senior High School graduate, married to Faith Compton Olivas and a father of a young son, Connor. Nicholas was killed in Zharay, Afghanistan, when his unit was attacked by an improvised explosive device.
Nicholas Olivas's mother, Marian, is a loyal client of Thompson Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. On the morning of Veteran's Day, observed Monday, November 12th, Thompson will present Marian with a check in her son's name, in the amount of $10,000, to a charity of her choice. |
